Some things to bear in mind when looking for a buggy:
Chassis type? Personal Preference - 3 wheels or 4 wheels
Do you do a lot of walking? - 3 wheelers are very tolerant of bumpy ground (city/country)
Suspension & Air Tyres? Essential for comfort of your baby on Irish footpaths/fields/beach ..
Fold Mechanism? Is the buggy easy to fold?
Is it free standing when folded?
Is it an umbrella fold / telescopic fold?
Will it fit in your car boot?
Are the wheels quick release?
Suitable Age Group? Is the buggy suitable for a newborn? (Does it recline 100%?)
What is the weight limit for the buggy?
What is the height of the seats/hoods? (if your children are tall)
Travel System compatible? Can buggy take a carseat? (often invaluable in the early days when you don't want to disturb your small sleeping baby when moving from car to house or buggy)
Weight? What is the weight of the buggy? (be careful that figure includes wheels, hoods, shopping basket and buggy seat!)
Important to know this as you will be pushing/lifting buggy for a long time!
